Fees

We know that cost is a real consideration when deciding where to go for treatment. This page sets out our fees clearly so there are no surprises.

ACC-funded treatment

If your hand, wrist or elbow injury was caused by an accident, it may be covered by ACC. This includes workplace injuries, sports injuries, falls, and many other traumatic injuries. ACC covers the majority of the treatment cost. You pay a co-payment per visit.

If you are not sure whether your injury qualifies for ACC, ask us when you book. We can often help clarify this, and if needed we can register your claim directly.

Private treatment (self-funded)

If your injury or condition is not ACC-covered, for example arthritis, post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain, or a condition that developed gradually rather than from an accident, you will be seen on a private basis.

Please let us know at the time of your booking:

• If you have private medical insurance
• If you have a community services card

Splinting, casting, dressings and wound care are covered by ACC in most instances. If there are any additional material costs, your therapist will discuss these with you before proceeding.

Cancellations and no-shows

We ask for at least two hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Appointments cancelled with less than two hours notice, or not attended, incur a $35 fee. This allows us to offer the appointment to another patient who needs it.
